Visiting the site

The site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics scripts and loads nothing from third parties: fonts, images and scripts are served from its own address. Your choice on the Bar Council of India disclaimer is remembered in your own browser's storage and is not sent anywhere.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare's servers process your IP address to deliver the pages, as any host must, and hold ordinary server logs for a short period.

Sending an enquiry

What you type into the enquiry form is sent by email to the chamber and, as a copy, to the address you give. The message passes through Resend, the email service the chamber uses, which holds it as an email log. The chamber keeps enquiries only as long as they are needed to reply and, if the chamber is instructed, as part of the file.

An enquiry does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Please do not send privileged material until the chamber has confirmed that it can act.

The Review by email

If you subscribe to the Vertari Legal Review, your email address is held in the chamber's subscriber list at Resend and used for the Review and nothing else. The subscription starts only when you open the confirmation link sent to that address. Every edition carries an unsubscribe link; using it removes the address from the list.

Your rights

You may ask at any time what information the chamber holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, subject to any professional obligation to keep a file. Write to the chamber at the address below.
